Across RegionSocial enterprise has been a key element of the HBNC Dignity First Program (information under Youth).
7.1.2 Foster innovation and technology activitiesThe Neighbourhood Hive is a new “connect & learn” space in Hervey Bay with opportunities for a range of innovative activities.

CLS has a Skills Campus in Hervey Bay. They are also working in partnership with HBNC to establish a Tech Hub at the Neighbourhood Hive.

Be Connected program currently operating through Fraser Coast Libraries to support older community members to use technology.
7.1.3 Provide training for community groups in grant writing to enable access to funding opportunitiesIndigenous communityFCRC has conducted grant writing workshops in Hervey Bay and Maryborough.

FCRC has established an email distribution list for information on Council and other grants for community groups.
7.2 Further promote tourism to provide economic benefits to the region7.2.1 Undertake beautification work to make all our destinations appealing e.g. Entrance to Howard Howard, TorbanleaFCRC
